Causeway Coast & Glens PCSP (Policing & Community Safety Partnership) have created these 5 videos in partnership with the NSPCC, Northern and Western Health Trusts and the Education Authority, to keep young people safe online. The videos are short but cover very important aspects:
- Mental health and well-being
- Online bullying - the impact of 'banter' and what to do about it
- Gaming addiction and gambling
- Sharing inappropriate images
- Get support - how to keep a healthy balance and get help when needed.
The content is more aimed at older pupils (possibly P5 upwards), however, children are more and more active online at younger ages so please take a look at the videos and share them with your child/children as you see fit. Talking to your child about online activity is essential to help keep them safe.
