P5-7 travelled to W5 in Belfast on Wednesday 20th November to take part in the 30th anniversary celebration of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC). This was hosted by The Northern Ireland Commissioner for Children and Young People (NICCY). Pupils took part in different activities to raise their awareness of children’s rights and become Children’s Rights Defenders. This was a good starting point for our pupils as we aim to explore children’s rights further throughout the year.
